Custom Stickers & Labels from Brunn am Gebirge
We print and cut your stickers in our own workshop near Vienna, whether for your company logo, a vehicle, a shop window or a club. Before we start, we check what the sticker is going onto, so that it actually stays there.
KÖCK-MEDIA prints and cuts stickers and labels in its own workshop in Brunn am Gebirge, in the Mödling district just south of Vienna. We work for businesses and private customers alike and also make single pieces. We offer delivery of the finished stickers throughout Austria, and our sign-making team installs them by arrangement.
Printing is the easy part. Whether a sticker stays put is decided earlier, by the surface and by the choice of film and adhesive. That is why we first ask what it is going onto, and only then choose the material.

Which stickers do we make? Sorted by use
Many enquiries start with a place: “The logo needs to go on the toolbox.” So we have sorted what we offer here by where the sticker will be used.
Company stickers with your logo
Whether it is a logo on a toolbox or a notice on the workshop door, most company stickers are somewhere between A5 and A4 and are read from a few metres away. How to work out the right size from the available surface is shown in our article on sticker formats from A7 to A0, and the checklist for ordering printed stickers sums up what should be clarified before you order.
Stickers for vehicles
Our standard sticker suits flat, smooth vehicle surfaces. For channels, rivets or a full wrap you need a dedicated vehicle film, and we advise you on that under vehicle graphics. We only apply stickers to freshly painted parts three weeks after painting.
We apply window graphics ourselves and also remove old films there, in both cases after an inspection. Vehicle windows are subject to their own rules: the windscreen and the front side windows stay free of film. For the rear window and the side windows from the second row of seats onwards, the Kraftfahrgesetz-Durchführungsverordnung (KDV, the Austrian Motor Vehicles Implementing Regulation) governs which film may be applied there, and then requires two exterior mirrors, among other things. For heated windows and coated glass, we clarify on site whether anything may be applied at all. The details are in our article on rear window stickers in Austria.
Shop windows and glass doors
For shop window lettering and glass doors we use clear film with white ink, or frosted glass decor film if you want the look of frosted glass. If the view from inside has to stay clear, perforated film goes on the shop window. If the sticker is applied on the inside and read from outside, still supply the file the right way round and add “inside”; we do the mirroring. Fire and smoke doors have an approval that is tied to their construction. If in doubt, ask the door manufacturer before anything is applied to them.
Machines and plastic crates
With machines, the surface is often deceptive: powder coating looks like paint, but for the adhesive it behaves more like plastic. Transport boxes made of PE or PP are similarly tricky, as ordinary acrylic adhesives struggle to grip on them. For parts like these we use polymeric film with a high-tack adhesive and apply a test piece first. Which film belongs on which surface is shown in our surface matrix.
Packaging and labels
We supply labels for applying yourself on sheets, kiss-cut, or cut individually: on the sheet if your team applies them, individually for including in a parcel. If the recipient should be able to open a seal gently, choose the removable version. We also produce on rolls. Whether the roll fits your dispenser or labelling machine, and anything to do with labels subject to mandatory labelling rules, such as for food or hazardous substances, we discuss case by case on request.
Floor stickers
For wayfinding and notices on the floor, our floor stickers always get a protective laminate, indoors and outdoors. The floor laminate we use is tested to DIN 51130, with slip resistance rating R9 for indoor use and R10 for outdoor use. The test applies to the laminate; the finished printed sticker has not been tested separately. Which slip resistance your area requires is set by the operator, in a business usually together with the safety specialist. We then tell you which build-up fits. How long a floor sticker lasts depends on how often it is walked over.
Clubs and private customers
For a club logo and for stickers to collect and swap, a kiss-cut sheet is a good choice: several designs stay together and fans peel them off one by one. Laptop and club stickers for indoor use are also available as a removable version on request, and how a sticker later comes off again without scratches is explained in our article on removing stickers from a laptop.
What are our stickers made of?
The standard sticker is made of polymeric film with a permanent adhesive and is intended for outdoor use without laminate. For the film, the manufacturer states seven years. This figure applies to the unprinted film, applied vertically, in a Central European climate. Printed and on horizontal surfaces you should expect less, and the same applies facing south or in industrial air. When you enquire, we will give you an honest assessment for your location. What distinguishes polymeric from monomeric and cast film is explained on the blog.
| Version | What for | What you should know |
|---|---|---|
| Standard sticker | indoors and outdoors, flat and smooth surfaces | polymeric, permanent adhesive, no laminate |
| with protective laminate, gloss or matt | protects the print where it is touched, cleaned or in the sun for long periods | option, one additional production step |
| removable | indoors: door, in-store promotion, packaging, laptop | on request; comes off more easily, but not always entirely without residue |
| clear with white ink | glass, dark and coloured surfaces | spot white, underprint, overprint or partial, with or without colour print |
| High-tack | powder coating, plastics such as PE and PP | permanent, test application first |
| Perforated film | shop windows and glass surfaces on buildings | 60/40 perforation, 1.5 mm hole diameter; up to 2 years depending on environmental conditions, up to 5 years with laminate |
| Wall film for textured walls | moderately textured plaster indoors | only after a test application on the actual wall |
White ink: when white is a colour of its own
On screen, white lettering looks finished. On clear film, however, white in the colour print is simply a spot without ink, and the lettering disappears. That is why we plan white ink as a separate layer: as an underprint beneath the colour, as an overprint for inside application, as spot white for individual elements, or partially beneath only parts of the design.
Laminate: matt or gloss
The laminate is a clear protective film that goes over the print. The film itself is made for outdoor use; the laminate protects the printed image. We recommend it wherever the sticker is touched or cleaned often, or sits in the sun for long periods. On smooth surfaces with little wear, the standard version without laminate is enough. A matt laminate looks calmer when light comes from above or from the side, in a workshop hall, for example, or on a counter under spotlights.
Coarse textured plaster is the limit
Not every film holds on walls, and certainly not when applying it to textured plaster. For moderately textured interior walls we have a dedicated wall film in our range and apply a test piece to your wall before the job. On coarse textured plaster and bare concrete we advise against it and suggest a sign instead. We tell you this before printing.
Shapes, sizes and cutting: what we can make
The shape is rectangular, round or oval. Or it freely follows the outline of your design. Stickers are produced individually, on sheets or on rolls. After cutting, we weed the matrix, meaning the film around the stickers. Only the finished pieces remain on the sheet.
| Feature | What we make |
|---|---|
| Formats | A7 (74 × 105 mm) to A0 (841 × 1189 mm) or any custom size |
| smallest size, kiss-cut | from 15 mm edge length |
| smallest size, contour cut | from 20 mm edge length |
| Roll width | 137, 152 or 160 cm depending on the material |
| largest width in one piece | 157 cm print width on the 160 cm roll, at lengths of up to 48 m; less with laminate and on other materials |
| wider than possible in one piece | split into panels, with a clean butt joint |
Contour cutting has a limit: it is not suitable for very fine designs and thin text. The smaller the format, the simpler the contour should be.
Ordering printed stickers: how a job works
- Enquiry or file: You tell us what the sticker is going onto, how large the area is and whether it is applied inside or outside. A photo of the surface usually saves a follow-up question. We will tell you which file formats we accept when you enquire; a logo as a vector file makes our work easier.
- Free file check: Before printing we look at the technical side of the file: format, resolution, bleed, contour line, white layer and print direction for inside or outside application. We do not check content or spelling. What a print-ready file needs is explained in print files for stickers.
- Printing and cutting in-house: We print on our latex printers, laminate on our own laminator and cut on the cutting plotter.
- Delivery or installation: We offer delivery throughout Austria. If you would like our sign-making team to apply the stickers, it installs them by arrangement.
If you do not yet have a print-ready file, our graphics team can rebuild the design on request. This requires the rights to use the design, which applies to company logos as well as to club crests and fan designs. This is a separate service outside the free file check.
Why stickers from KÖCK-MEDIA in Brunn am Gebirge?
KÖCK-MEDIA was founded in 2017, and our founder has more than 30 years in the trade. This has become a rule that applies to every job: first we clarify the surface, then we print. A sticker that lifts at the corners is not advertising, it is a reprint.
- Our own production, Made in Austria: printing, laminating and cutting happen at our premises in Brunn am Gebirge, Industriestraße B11. If you are coming from southern Vienna or the Mödling district, we are close by.
- Advice on material and surface: Before we suggest a film, we want to know the surface and how long the sticker needs to last. If none is suitable, we tell you.
- Single pieces too: for example for a test on the actual surface or for a repeat order. The price depends on quantity, size and material. What your order costs is stated in the quote.
- Design, printing and installation from one source: our graphics team designs, the workshop produces and, if you wish, the sign-making team applies.

Frequently asked questions.
What is the minimum quantity for printed stickers?
KÖCK-MEDIA also makes stickers as single pieces, for example for the entrance door, for a test on the actual surface or for a repeat order. The price depends on quantity, size and material; what your order costs is stated in the quote.
Do your stickers last outdoors?
The film of our standard sticker is polymeric, has a permanent adhesive and is made for outdoor use. For the unprinted film, the manufacturer states seven years, applied vertically in a Central European climate; printed, on horizontal surfaces, facing south or in industrial air, it is less. If the sticker is touched or cleaned often, or sits in the sun for long periods, we also recommend a protective laminate, gloss or matt.
Can the stickers be removed again?
Our standard sticker has a permanent adhesive because it is meant to last outdoors. For indoor use, for example on a door, packaging, a laptop or for club stickers, a removable version is available on request. It comes off more easily, but not always entirely without residue.
What does the free file check cover?
In the free file check we look at the technical side of your file before printing: format, resolution, bleed, contour line, white layer and print direction for inside or outside application. We do not check content or spelling.
How small and how large can stickers be?
We cut kiss-cut stickers from 15 mm edge length and contour-cut stickers from 20 mm. In one piece, the 160 cm roll allows a print width of up to 157 cm at lengths of up to 48 m; with laminate and on other materials the width is smaller. Wider areas are split into panels with a clean butt joint.
The sticker goes on the inside of the glass. Do I have to mirror the file?
No. Supply the file the right way round and tell us that the sticker goes on the inside of the glass. We mirror it before printing.
Do you deliver and install?
We offer delivery throughout Austria, and our sign-making team installs by arrangement. We apply stickers to vehicle windows after an inspection beforehand.
Can I order stickers online?
