Sun Protection Window Films
Less heat, less glare, full view: sun protection films make glass surfaces summer-proof — in offices, shops and homes.
Large glass surfaces are beautiful — until the sun hits them: rooms heat up, screens become unreadable, furniture and goods fade, and the air conditioning runs at full blast. Sun protection films solve the problem right at the pane: they reflect a large share of the solar energy before it enters the room — depending on film type and glazing.
Unlike blinds or shades, films work without darkening: the view outside stays clear, daylight keeps coming in — only heat, glare and UV radiation are filtered. The range spans from a nearly neutral clear-glass look through subtle tints to mirrored versions with a daytime privacy effect.
Important to know: not every film suits every glass — on insulated and double glazing, the wrong film can cause thermal stress up to glass breakage. That is exactly why every installation of ours starts with a look at your glazing. We choose the right film, install bubble-free and, on request, advise on safety and privacy functions in the same visit.

The right film for your glass.
Sun protection film is not all the same: interior or exterior installation, tint level, reflection behaviour and above all compatibility with your glazing decide the result. A film that absorbs too much can overheat insulated glass — which is why we check glass type and installation situation before every quote.
As a foil technology company, we have been installing films on glass surfaces of all kinds for years — from a single office window to a complete facade. On request we combine sun protection with shatter protection or decorative elements, and deliver the shop window lettering in the same visit.
Frequently asked questions.
How much heat does a sun protection film block?
That depends on film type and glazing: high-quality films reflect a large share of the incoming solar energy before it reaches the room. We can tell you what is realistic for your pane after a quick look at the glass and its orientation.
Will the room get darker?
Hardly — that is the big advantage over blinds: modern sun protection films filter heat and UV specifically, while daylight and the view remain largely intact. You choose the tint level — from nearly neutral to subtly tinted.
Interior or exterior installation?
Both are possible. Exterior films block heat most effectively; interior films are weather-protected and more durable. We clarify what makes sense for your glazing during the site visit.
Is the film suitable for double and insulated glazing?
Yes — but only with the right film choice: unsuitable films can cause thermal stress on insulated glass, up to breakage. That is why we check the glass type before every installation and select a film approved for it.
